Some 100 students involved in MassEdCO's Educational Talent Search (ETS), GEAR UP and Educational Opportunity Center (EOC) programs attended the National African American Read-In and 9th Annual ALANA Preview Day at Worcester State University on February 8th.
Attendees heard from author, entrepreneur, and life coach Dianne Langford James, WSU Class of 2023. She shared some thoughts from her recent book, "Breaking Cycles & Building Your Legacy," which captures her "unrelenting journey from the valleys of addiction, homelessness, jail, institutions, and near death experience - to the mountaintop of redemption."
