ACE students use MassEdCO office

MassEdCO was pleased to host a group of 5th-12th grade students in the ACE Summer Reading Program for a few days in July. The program, which teaches reading comprehension and vocabulary and assists students with Worcester Public School summer reading assignments, is a project of the African Community Education Program in Worcester. ACE's mission is to assist African refugee and immigrant youth and families to achieve educational and social stability.

Their youthful voices and enthusiasm brought smiles to the office environment. MassEdCO staffers filled backpacks with pens, tablets, and other school supplies for the children. The children responded with handmade expressions of thanks.
