United Negro College Fund

MassEdCO CEO Pam Boisvert posed with Dr. Michael L. Lomax, national United Negro College Fund (UNCF) president, before the Fund’s inaugural leaders’ luncheon for promoting access to higher education for low- to moderate-income youths and minorities held on December 9 in Boston.  The goal of the fundraising luncheon was to “ensure more African-American students are college-ready, enroll in college and persist to graduation,” according to organizers.  UNCF is the country’s largest minority education organization, enabling more than 60,000 students to attend college each year.  Pam serves as a member of the UNCF’s Regional Leadership Council.
