Keith Pomeroy - CSI Volunteer

From time to time we like to thank someone who has made a real difference to our organization.  Right now, that person is Keith Pomeroy, a MassEdCO Board member, our former treasurer, and a volunteer with the CSI Worcester program.

CSI (College Success Institute) brings together volunteers from area colleges and local businesses to mentor high school juniors and seniors in Worcester who may not aspire to attend college or know much about available careers.

Keith, who is Vice President at Morgan Stanley, began working with the CSI program when it was hosted by Junior Achievement.  He was instrumental in its transition to its new home with Colleges of Worcester Consortium (now MassEdCO), and has remained a constant source of support via his ongoing mentoring of CSI participants.

As a Board member, he served as MassEdCO’s treasurer during its critical first three years, chaired its Finance Committee, and has attracted new Board members as well, who bring with them skill sets that are essential to the smooth running of a nonprofit.

Not only has Keith been a guiding force within the very successful CSI program since its inception, but he has willingly expanded his volunteer role to ensure that MassEdCO got off to a strong and stable start. Without his commitment, the CSI program would not be around today, and MassEdCO would not be on a strong financial footing.

So we are happy to salute and feature Keith Pomeroy for his volunteer efforts on behalf of MassEdCO.  Thank you, Keith!
